In 1989, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Adelphi University in Business Management and Communications. Prior to founding TLC Computer Services, she served as Systems Administrator and Financial Controller for two local insurance agencies. During that time, she founded the AMS Downstate User Group and served on its executive committee for many years. Bringing forth her accounting and technology experience, along with her in-depth knowledge of insurance software products, she established TLC Computer Services Inc. in 1992. Laura is a Microsoft Certified Small Business Specialist, Novell Certified Network Administrator and a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Tom earned his Associates Degree in Applied Science in Graphic Arts Technology. Prior to joining TLC Computer Services, he enjoyed a career as a Lead Pressman/Journeyman for several prestigious Long Island Print Shops. Tom has earned CompTIA's A+ Certification which is an international industry credential that validates the knowledge of computer service technicians with the equivalent of 500 hours of hands-on experience along with a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and networking. He has also earned the status of a Microsoft Certified Professional as well as additional certifications from IBM and Hewlett Packard.
